10-Port PWM Fan Hub Splitter – 4-Pin SATA PC Cooling
10-Port PWM Fan Hub – Take Full Control of Your PC Cooling
Tired of running out of motherboard fan headers? This 10-Port PWM Fan Hub expands a single 4-pin motherboard CPU fan header into up to 10 controllable ports, letting you manage all your chassis fans from one central point. With a dedicated SATA power connection, the hub draws power directly from your PSU — keeping load off your motherboard and ensuring stable, consistent fan performance across your entire build.
Key Features
- 10 Fan Ports: Expand one motherboard 4-pin header into 10 individual fan connectors — perfect for high-airflow builds.
- PWM Speed Control: Connects to your motherboard's CPU fan header for full PWM-based speed management across all connected fans simultaneously.
- 3-Pin & 4-Pin Compatible: Works with both 3-pin and 4-pin fans (note: 3-pin fans run at full speed as they lack PWM speed-control capability).
- SATA Power Interface: Direct PSU power supply via SATA connector reduces motherboard power load for a more stable and reliable setup.
- Dual Interface Types: Includes a red dedicated CPU fan port (with RPM speed-measurement signal) and black standard PWM fan ports (no speed-measurement signal, but full PWM function retained).
- Easy Mounting: Built-in adhesive backing for flat-surface attachment, plus a fixed screw hole for more permanent installation inside your case.
- Compact Metal Construction: Solid black metal build measuring just 7 × 4.5 cm (2.76 × 1.77 in) — fits neatly inside virtually any PC chassis.
How It Works
Connect the PWM signal cable to your motherboard's CPU fan header. Power the hub via your SATA cable from the PSU. Plug in up to 10 fans and your motherboard will control all fan speeds uniformly through PWM, just as if they were plugged in directly. Note: to avoid RPM read confusion, only one fan's speed is reported to the motherboard — this is normal behaviour for a multi-port hub and does not affect PWM speed control of any connected fan.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I use 3-pin fans with this PWM fan hub?
A: Yes, 3-pin fans are physically compatible with this fan hub and will run when connected. However, because 3-pin fans do not have a PWM control pin, they will operate at full speed regardless of the PWM signal — speed control applies only to 4-pin PWM fans.
Q: Will my motherboard display the RPM of all 10 fans?
A: No — this is standard behaviour for a fan hub. Because all 10 ports share a single motherboard header, only one fan's RPM reading will be reported to the motherboard. All fans will still be speed-controlled correctly via PWM; only the speed readout is limited to one fan.
Q: Does this fan hub require a SATA power connection?
A: Yes, the hub uses a SATA power connector from your PSU to supply power directly to the fans. This means the fans draw their operating current from the PSU rather than the motherboard header, keeping your motherboard safe from overloading.
Q: What is the difference between the red and black ports on the hub?
A: The red port is a dedicated CPU fan port with RPM speed-measurement (tachometer) signal — connect your primary fan here if you want RPM to be reported to the motherboard. The black ports are standard PWM fan ports without a speed-measurement signal, but they retain full PWM speed-control functionality.
