Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What batteries does the motion sensor trash can require?
A: The automatic touchless trash can is powered by 2 × AA batteries, which are not included in the package. Standard AA batteries are widely available and easy to replace.
Q: Is the 18L trash can waterproof enough for bathroom use?
A: Yes! The bin carries an IPX5 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand water splashes from any direction. This makes it an excellent choice for bathrooms, kitchens, or any other damp environment.
Q: How does the touchless opening work?
A: The lid opens automatically via a built-in motion sensor. You can choose from four modes: wave sensing (hover your hand above), knee-bend sensing, kick sensing (great when your hands are full), or always-open mode for continuous access. Simply select whichever suits your workflow best.
Q: Will the blue light be too bright at night?
A: The blue luminous press ring emits a soft, gentle glow — bright enough to locate the bin easily in the dark, but subtle enough not to disturb your sleep environment.
Q: Can I use standard garbage bags with this bin?
A: Absolutely. The built-in press ring is designed to hold standard garbage bags securely inside the bin, keeping them hidden and preventing them from slipping down. A trash bag box is also included in the package.
