Wiring / Connection Guide

  • B+ → Positive pole of the battery pack
  • B− → Negative pole of the battery pack
  • MB → Mid-point between Battery Cell 1 and Battery Cell 2
  • P+ → Positive pole of the charge/discharge terminal (shared)
  • P− → Negative pole of the charge/discharge terminal (shared)

Assembly Note: When building your battery pack, ensure that all cells are matched in voltage, capacity, and internal resistance. Cells should be at approximately 3.7V rated voltage. If there is no output after assembly, charge the pack using an 8.4V charger to activate the board.

Package Contents

  • 1× 2S BMS PCM Protection Board

Note: Due to manual measurement, please allow a tolerance of 1–3mm. Colors may vary slightly between screen displays and the actual product.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What type of batteries is this 2S BMS protection board compatible with?

A: This BMS PCM board is designed for 2-cell series (2S) Li-ion and LiPo battery packs with a nominal voltage of approximately 3.7V per cell (total pack voltage 6.4V–8.4V). It is not compatible with other battery chemistries such as NiMH or lead-acid.

Q: What does the three-level overcurrent protection do?

A: The built-in three-level overcurrent detection circuit monitors the current flow and responds to three distinct fault conditions: Overcurrent Level 1 (moderate excess), Overcurrent Level 2 (higher excess), and a direct short-circuit load event. The board automatically disconnects the circuit when any of these conditions are detected, protecting both the battery cells and connected devices.

Q: What should I do if there is no output after assembling my battery pack?

A: If the assembled battery pack shows no output, this is typically because the protection board has entered a sleep or lockout state. Simply connect a compatible 8.4V charger to the P+ and P− terminals to reactivate the board and restore normal operation.

Q: Is the short-circuit protection permanent or recoverable?

A: The short-circuit protection on this board is fully recoverable. After removing the short-circuit condition, the board can be recharged and returned to normal operation — no replacement is needed.
