3.2 Gallon Pressurized Water Storage Tank with Ball Valve

Keep your home's water filtration system running at peak efficiency with this heavy-duty 3.2 Gallon Pressurized Water Storage Tank. Designed specifically for reverse osmosis (RO) water purification systems, this tank delivers consistent water pressure, ample storage, and long-lasting durability — all in a compact, food-grade construction.

Key Features

  • Food-Grade ABS Material: Built from premium, anti-aging, eco-friendly food-grade ABS plastic — safe for potable water storage and designed for long service life.
  • 3.2 Gallon Metal-Style Pressurized Tank: Stores up to 3.2 gallons (approx. 7–8 usable litres accounting for inert gas pressure maintenance) to ensure consistent water flow on demand.
  • Explosion-Proof & Compression-Resistant: Engineered for outstanding structural integrity, handling working pressures up to 50 Mpsi safely and reliably.
  • High-Quality Imported Air Valve Core: Reduces the risk of air leakage, maintaining stable internal pressure for optimal RO system performance.
  • Includes Ball Valve: Comes complete with a 2-point interface ball valve for easy, secure connection to your RO system's 1/4" PE pipe.
  • Universal Compatibility: Works with standard reverse osmosis water purification systems — a straightforward upgrade or replacement for your existing setup.

Installation Guide

  1. Remove the water inlet cap and slowly screw the ball valve into the upper water inlet. Hand-tighten only — do not over-torque as this product uses plastic threads.
  2. Insert the 1/4" PE pipe firmly into the end of the valve fitting.
  3. Turn on the system and check all connections for leaks. If any leakage is detected, adjust the ball valve or wrap the water inlet threads with PTFE tape as needed.
  4. For first use: allow the first full tank to fill, then drain it completely before drinking — this flushes the liner and internal components.
  5. During regular use, drain the tank once a month and each time you replace filter elements to keep the system clean.

Package Contents

  • 1 × Pressurized Water Storage Tank
  • 1 × Ball Valve

Important Notes

  • Do not overtighten the ball valve — plastic threads can strip.
  • Avoid prolonged sun exposure to the tank.
  • If leaving home for an extended period, close the inlet valve and disconnect power to your RO system.
  • Please allow a slight dimensional variance due to manual measurement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the actual usable water capacity of this 3.2 gallon RO storage tank?

A: Because inert gas is used inside the tank to maintain water pressure, the actual usable water space is approximately 7–8 litres, which is slightly less than the full 3.2-gallon rated capacity. This is normal for all pressurized RO storage tanks.

Q: Is this pressurized water storage tank compatible with my existing RO system?

A: Yes — this is a universal pressurized tank designed to work with standard reverse osmosis water purification systems that use 1/4" PE pipe connections. Its 2-point interface ball valve makes it straightforward to integrate with most home RO setups.

Q: How do I maintain this RO pressure tank to keep it hygienic?

A: For best results, fully drain and flush the tank once per month during normal use, and always drain it when you replace your RO filter elements. This keeps the liner, filter elements, and internal pipelines clean and fresh.

Q: What material is the tank made from — is it safe for drinking water?

A: The tank is constructed from food-grade ABS material, which is anti-aging, eco-friendly, and approved for safe use with potable (drinking) water in reverse osmosis purification systems.
