Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I use these sandpaper sheets with water for wet sanding car paint?

A: Yes! These sheets are fully waterproof and designed for both wet and dry sanding. Wet sanding with water is especially effective for automotive paint finishing, helping reduce friction and produce a smoother, swirl-free surface when working through the 2000–7000 grit range.

Q: What is the difference between the grits included in this set?

A: The set includes five progressive grits: 2000 grit for light surface smoothing, 2500 for finer finishing, 3000 for polishing and removing minor scratches, 5000 for ultra-fine surface prep, and 7000 for an exceptionally smooth, near-polished finish. Using them in sequence gives the best results on car paint, varnish, and lacquer surfaces.

Q: Are these sandpaper sheets suitable for metalworking?

A: Yes, these sheets are well-suited for metalworking applications including smoothing welds, preparing metal surfaces for paint, and finishing polished metal parts. The flexible latex paper base allows them to conform to curved metal surfaces with ease.

Q: How large is each sandpaper sheet?

A: Each sheet measures approximately 23 × 9.3 cm, making them a comfortable size for hand sanding by grip. Please allow for ±1–3 cm variation due to manual measurement.
