Installation Guide
- Pry off the plastic tripod of the bottom case before installation. The plastic sleeve covered by the original rubber can be disassembled from the bottom case — there are several plastic welding points inside that can be flattened and pushed out with a screwdriver.
- Thoroughly clean the groove where the new strip will sit, removing any dust, oil, or adhesive residue.
- Peel the backing off the adhesive strip and firmly press it into place along the groove until fully seated.
