Made in Mainland China.
How the Sensor Works
- Darkness-activated: The sensor only operates in low-light or night conditions — it stays off during daylight, saving even more energy.
- Instant detection: Human body infrared (PIR) sensing detects movement within a 3–5 metre range and switches the light on immediately.
- Auto-off: Light stays on for approximately 25–30 seconds while motion is present, then turns off automatically around 20 seconds after movement stops.
Key Features
- Wide voltage compatibility: AC 85–265V input means it works in virtually every country worldwide.
- Warm or cool white: Choose Warm White (2800K–3500K) for a cosy glow, or Cool White (5800K–6500K) for crisp, clear illumination.
- High CRI > Ra85: Colours look natural and true-to-life under this light.
- Energy-efficient: Saves up to 45–70% more energy compared with traditional fluorescent, halogen, or incandescent lamps.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will the PIR motion sensor LED downlight work during the day?
A: No — the sensor is designed to activate only in low-light or dark conditions. During daylight hours the lamp remains off, maximising energy savings. It will only switch on when it detects movement in a sufficiently dark environment.
Q: How long does the light stay on after it detects movement?
A: Once the PIR sensor detects movement, the LED downlight stays on for approximately 25–30 seconds. After the person leaves the sensing area, the light will automatically turn off about 20 seconds later.
Q: What ceiling hole size do I need to install this recessed LED spot?
A: The required cut-out size depends on the wattage you choose: 5W needs 68–86mm, 10W needs 75–95mm, 15W needs 88–108mm, and 20W needs 108–128mm. Always measure your ceiling opening before ordering to ensure a proper fit.
Q: Is this LED downlight suitable for use in damp areas like bathrooms or covered balconies?
A: Yes. The IP52 rating provides protection against dust and light moisture, making it suitable for covered balconies, laundry rooms, and similar lightly damp spaces. It is not designed for direct exposure to water or outdoor rain.
