Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What keyboards are these silicone rubber domes compatible with?

A: These silicone rubber dome sheets are designed for capacitive keyboards including HHKB (Happy Hacking Keyboard), Topre, DES, Leopold, and Novotouch layouts. Always verify your specific keyboard model before purchasing.

Q: What is the difference between the actuation weight options (25g, 35g, 45g, 55g, 65g)?

A: Actuation weight refers to how much force is needed to register a keypress. Lower weights (25g–35g) feel lighter and are ideal for fast, effortless typing, while higher weights (55g–65g) provide a firmer, more deliberate keystroke feel. The 45g option is a popular middle-ground choice for most typists.

Q: How many dome sheets are included per order?

A: Each order includes 1 silicone rubber dome sheet measuring 9.5 × 7.5 cm. Please order multiple units if you need to cover a full keyboard layout.

Q: Are these domes a direct drop-in replacement?

A: Yes — for compatible keyboards (HHKB, Topre, Leopold, DES, Novotouch), these are designed as drop-in replacements with no modifications required. Simply remove the old dome sheet and install the new silicone one.
